This special event is open to families with kids ages 4 to 12, designed to deepen the faith, celebrate their God-given creativity, and nurture their love for the Lord. It also serves as a time for families to reflect on their own “Galilee” moments—those encounters with Jesus that continue to bring them hope, courage, and strength in their daily lives.

The venue will be at Camp Mardela located in a scenic part of Denton, Maryland.
​Accommodations for the FamCon
​​
There are three tiers of registration based on the accommodation options. We encourage families to stay together in the same type of accommodation. All fees come with meals from Saturday breakfast to Sunday lunch.

Bedrooms- ($125 per person) Located at the King Retreat Center, it can host up to 6 family members. Each room has a rest room. One family per room. Space is limited so this will be on a first come - first served basis. Organizers have the right to move you to another accommodation when this space is filled.

Cabins - ($95 per person) Can host up to 6 family members. One family per cabin room. Communal bathroom for all cabin dwellers. One family per room. Space is limited so this will be on a first come - first served basis. Organizers have the right to move you to another accommodation when this space is filled.

Tents - ($75 per person) Can host up to 20 families. You must bring your own tents and camping equipment. Communal bathroom for all tent dwellers. Tent sites have access to electricity and water spigot.

Registration Instructions

Click the registration button below. This will take you to Zeffy online registration system.

Families must stay together in the same accommodation preference. Choose your preferred accommodation and buy the same ticket for each member of your family.

Official KFC FamCon shirts are available for pre-order! Select the quantity and shirt size.

When paying, Zeffy will add a default donation amount. This is OPTIONAL and you can opt out by clicking the drop down, select Other, and zero the amount.

Choose your payment option then check out.

You will receive a confirmation email with the registration QR code when completed.

Q. When is the deadline for registration?
A. Registration for FamCon will close on Aug 13, 2025.​

Q. What time will the FamCon start and end?
A. FamCon starts at 8 am on Aug 16 and ends at 12 pm on Aug 17.

Q. What time should we arrive at FamCon?
A. Please aim to arrive at 7 am to provide ample time for unloading and registration.

Q. How many slots are available for FamCon?
A. There are 100 individual slots available.

Medications are REQUIRED to be in their original packaging with a note from a licensed physician (prescription or over-the-counter). We are not able to administer unknown or uncontrolled medications. (Ex. do not use daily pill boxes, zip lock bags, etc to store camper medications)​​

Q. Where can we park when we arrive at Camp Mardela?
A. Vehicles must be parked in designated areas:

King, Krabill, Cabin, RV & Tent Parking (using tent sites in RV area).

Lot in front of basketball court.

Grassy area used for overflow parking.

Pavilion & Tent Parking (using tent sites by ponds).

Lot in front of pavilion.

Handicapped Parking.

Next to King (marked with signs).

You may drive to the retreat center and dining hall to unload luggage and food and then park your car in designated lots.

Only drive on clear, marked roads.

Observe speed limits. In areas where no speed limit is posted, assume a 5 mph speed limit.
